The distillery is situated in the Speyside region and is named after the village. It is rather particular that the sigboard on the building still states”Whitehorse Distillery Ltd”. The 1st owner was the inventor of the white horse whisky. Only 2% of the current production is bottled as a single malt whisky.
Nose: Ground espresso coffee beans with dark chocolate and grated orange peel
Taste: Dark chocolate and orange fruit, covered with sea influences
Finish: More orange fruit.
