Glen Moray Adelphi, 1991, 22 year, 56,6%, 0,7L, cask 9346, 267 bottles
The distillery is located near Elgin and once built as a brewery, but in 1897 turned into a whiskey distillery. In the 90 years it was discovered that a finish in white wine barrels slight floral character of the whiskey reinforced. That certainly contributed to its popularity.
Nose: Cake with cherries, slghtly bitter
Taste: Sweet & Sour with coconut and plenty tropical fruit.
Finish: Sweet & sour, long and very tasty.
