Founded in Glasgow already around 1770 and after s storming life, closed by Diageo in 2009. The production of grain whisky was acquired by Cameron Bridge and North British Distillers in Gorgie.
Nose: Huge, full and sweet of oak and a vanilla/honey combination.
Taste: Mouthfilling and rich with citrus and a vanilla/Maply syrup/caramel combination.
Finish: Surprisingly long (for a grain whisky) remains sweet with spices and butterscotch.
